I build ecommerce storefronts on Shopify or fully custom with Next.js - depending on what the brand actually needs. Shopify for speed and ecosystem. Custom Next.js for full ownership, unique UX, or 3D product experiences that a theme can't deliver.

What's included

  • 01Shopify theme development - custom Liquid themes built from Figma
  • 02Shopify Hydrogen / headless - Next.js storefront on Shopify's backend
  • 03Custom Next.js ecommerce - full ownership, Stripe, no platform fees
  • 043D product viewer - rotate, zoom, swap materials (when the brand needs it)
  • 05Cart and checkout flow - multi-step, mobile-first, conversion-focused
  • 06Product management admin - update listings, stock, and prices without a developer
  • 07Order management - confirmation emails, tracking, fulfilment status
  • 08Performance optimised - Core Web Vitals, fast globally on Vercel or Shopify CDN

Who this is for

DTC brands and product companies that want a storefront that reflects their brand - not a theme that looks like 10,000 other Shopify stores. Whether that means a custom Shopify theme, headless, or fully custom Next.js depends on the brief.

Brands launching a physical product where a 3D viewer or scroll-driven product reveal would meaningfully lift conversion - furniture, tech hardware, jewellery, fashion.

FAQ

Why build custom instead of using Shopify?

Shopify is great for getting started fast. But if you want a unique storefront, specific checkout flows, or deep integration with other internal tools - custom is the right call. You own the code, no monthly fees, no theme constraints.

How much does a custom ecommerce website cost?

Custom ecommerce sites are priced on a fixed-price basis scoped upfront. The cost depends on the number of product types, checkout complexity, and integrations. Email aman@amanyadav.xyz for a quote.

Will I be able to add products myself after launch?

Yes. The admin panel lets you add products, update stock, change prices, and manage orders without touching code. That's non-negotiable - you shouldn't need a developer for day-to-day store management.

Can you integrate with payment providers other than Stripe?

Stripe is the default - it's reliable and works globally. If you need Razorpay, PayPal, or another provider for your market, that's possible. Mention it when you get in touch.
